Craftsmanship and Sustainability
The act of creating structures, spaces, and pieces that help to form a home, knowing that they will be used and enjoyed for years to come, is what makes me proud to be working in the construction industry.
We endeavour to create, restore and maintain buildings to the highest possible standard.
From my Traditional Building-Craft apprenticeship, I learnt to approach construction in a holistic manner. By incorporating aspects of design, the use of high quality materials, and the application of the best known construction methods, we aim to create structures and pieces of lasting value.
We are constantly looking to improve working and building methods to make them more sustainable. We only use materials from suppliers who responsibly source their products; our timber is from FSC accredited suppliers only.
Sustainability for us doesn't solely mean material usage, it means constructing buildings, spaces and furniture with lasting value that will be widely appreciated and relevant for future generations.
The Team
Our company was established by myself and my wife Kathryn. We work alongside a tight-knit team of subcontractors who share our values and commitment to high quality service.
We are a community of local tradespeople, including: carpenters, plumbers, bricklayers, plasterers, painters and decorators, tilers, general builders, roofers, and labourers.
We also have working relationships with an ever growing range of trade professionals including: electricians, heating engineers, stonemasons, specialist painters, flooring specialists, glass manufacturers and window and door suppliers, large joinery firms, specialist plaster and timber moulding companies, architects and engineers, and interior designers. By organising initial meetings between these professionals and our clients, we are able to fulfil specific project requirements.
