FEATURED PROJECTS

Bespoke fitted units

We had the pleasure of working with an interior designer to design and create this pair of bespoke fitted units.

Our traditional joinery techniques were coupled the with the manufacturing of a bespoke cornice and arch headed mould by a team of specialist plasterers.
Our trusted electrician was also involved in hanging the chandelier and adapting the property's electrics to suit the client's needs.

Handcrafted dovecote

We were commissioned to design and make a dovecote in the style of a piece of artwork by Voysey. It was a very engaging challenge, making use of American white oak to create the unique curved shape, and support the weight of such a heavy structure. We are pleased to report that the doves are very happy with their new accommodation.

Fitted oak bookcases

We recently oversaw and fitted bespoke, joiner made bookcases for one of our clients. They were beautifully finished with French polish by a specialist painter from our network of trusted professionals.
All of the
mouldings were bespoke to allow the cases to settle sympathetically into their environment.

Traditional renovations

Here is a finished drawing room from our most recent large scale renovation project. We had the opportunity to restore a 1930s art-deco country home from bedrooms to bathrooms, libraries to living spaces.
We thoroughly enjoyed the task which involved: restoring original oak panelling; undertaking specialist plaster works to match the existing mouldings; creating bespoke bay window seating; constructing library book cases and much more.

Travelling drinks case

A butler commissioned us to make him a drinks case to take to country shooting events. We were proud to have been offered this joinery project, no job is too small.

Its design was inspired by the campaign furniture of the British Empire from the 18th century, where robust construction and portability were as important as style.
